Meeting Point – Bord Na Móna site office at Ballivor (on R156 Raharney road)

Event details

In light of a current project underway by Bord Na Móna (for volunteers to take over a section of the Ballivor bog (Coolronan) as an amenity for the locals and visitors) this walk will focus on the natural and environmental richness of the bog. With the expertise of Goska Wilkowska of Meath Westmeath Peatland Heritage Group and Birdwatch Ireland Meath on hand to guide you through the array of wildlife and fauna in the bog.
